Mt. St. Helens Erupts / Updated

Yep, thats right, Mt. St. Helens is erupting currently, sending a huge steam and light ash plume up to somewhere between 25000 ft (AP) to 36000 ft (King5, Seattle). The eruption follows a 2.0 earthquake. B!x was lucky enough to catch these images of the ash/steam plume from Portland. Not much has made the major media yet, just a few blips on MSNBC so far.

Update 1

This picture of the plume is from KGW Newschannel 8 in Portland.

Update 2

And watching streaming video from King5 News, you can see magma through cracks in the dome and lava on the surface. Helicopters are circling the crater giving live coverage of the lava dome building event.

Tests Show King Tut Was Not Murdered

King Tut wasn't murdered by a blow to the head, nor was his chest crushed in an accident. But after ruling out those longtime theories, the most revealing tests ever performed on the boy pharaoh's mummy didn't solve the mystery of how he died.

The results of the high-tech CT scan released Tuesday raised one new possibility: It suggested that just days before his death, Tut might have badly broken his left thigh, puncturing the skin — an injury that could have caused a dangerous infection.

The mystery of Tutankhamen shall continue on, as it seems that he was not murdered with a blow to the head. Who knows if this mystery will ever be answered.
